Thanks for listening to and requesting my music. It just tickles me pink to have this WWR thing where musicians can have a chance to say thanks to listeners and learn more about them. I see that you like Muriel Anderson, too. Hi Kazooy. I wanted to let you know that I wrote to Mike Wall today complementing him on his music. I received a very nice email in return with a lovely piece of music he is working on as a gift. In replying to his email, I let him know that you (with your user page link) had put together a wonderful artist page (which I also included). You may hear from him or not, but wanted to let you know that I had mentioned your "work" in my email, in case you get an email out of the blue from him. Will Thompson

Kaz - I worked on Will Thompson's page last night, but I was unable to find a bio for him. I also noticed that he provides lyrics on his web site, but they are in a JPG image, not text. I ended up scanning a print of the lyrics into OCR software and converting to text. Long process, might be easier just to type the lyrics out. Cub Driver 15:19, June 27, 2008 (AKDT)

J._J._Sheridan-bio.jpg

Kazoo, I saw your post earlier today about the J.J. Sheridan-bio.jpg all of a sudden showing up as missing. I checked the web server logs back to August 2nd and the first instance of j.j.Sheridan-bio.jpg was when you uploaded it at 10:38 Talkeetna time this morning. It's possible that it existed before that date, but it wasn't there from the 2nd until today. I can see that the regular j.j.sheridan.jpg was downloaded in the what's playing page, so if the bio image was there I would have expected to see it being downloaded too. If you see some more examples (or I misunderstand the issue), please post them on my talk page so I can research them. I know you mentioned that you had seen several other issues like this too, so very possible there is an issue out there, it just wasn't this artist. Dognut, There are slightly less than 4000 artists in the library, that makes roughly 8000 images, I ran the figures of what I've downloaded to my computer which were then uploaded to WWR, I'm over 30,000 Artist/Artist-bio images uploaded to WWR and the red letters still keep coming, when they go it is as if they never existed. Kazoo, I'm not saying it's not happening, it's just that J._J._Sheridan.jpg didn't disappear in the last 4 days. The link certainly would have been red when you looked yesterday, but as far as I can tell from the 2nd onward, it wasn't on the site. So... when you find the next example, please don't upload a new image, just send me a link to the image/page and I will do some research. Thanks again. Shout Sister Shout/Steppin' In It

Kaz, being a nut for all things Rachael Davis, here's the way it is . . .

Shout Sister Shout is the band Steppin' In It plus Rachael Davis. The album we have is Steppin' In It, not Shout Sister Shout. So the photos need to be changed to not include Rachael, and Jim needs to be notified to change the name to Steppin' In It. I will do it if you don't, but not now; I'm on my way to a camp-out.
