Happy Birthday

Welcome

Hello and welcome to Whole Wheat Radio Flora! Image:Wavingicon.gif

This is your Talk page where other users leave you messages. You also have a User page to use as you please. Click the User page tab above to see your user page. Most people write something about themselves so other people have an idea who you are.

Do not be afraid! Image:Smile.gif Using a wiki (community run website) can be intimidating until you get used to it. Please remember that we all started with similar fears - but the water is fine after the initial shock. If you make a "mistake", don't worry. Someone will fix it. If you make a lot of mistakes, someone will try to help you. We're all in this little boat together and we all want to see it succeed. Welcome aboard!

Some helpful pages are:

If you have questions please ask Mr. Monkey. He'll be happy to tell you everything he knows. Don't worry about messing up - it's better to Be Bold than to be afraid on a wiki site. We've gotcha covered.

Once again, welcome! And when you're tired of seeing this message on your talk page, just erase the line that says welcome and it will disappear. Image:Thumbsup.gif

Hi Flora, It's nice to see your smiling face around here. Firewalk (talk/contribs) 14:19, November 19, 2008 (AKST)

Editing

Hi Flora. Good to see you here and helping out with the editing. I noticed a couple of things that you missed. On a few songs there were lyrics posted but you wiped out the space that the lyrics need to be placed between..otherwise they don't show up. Here are the songs that need fixed:

I Ain't Got No Home 1
Somewhere To Go 2
Upper Room 3 That one has the Lyrics portion completely wiped out and no lyrics.

This is the wording of the lyrics section on each song page. I am going to let you do the corrections on each of those pages and replace this phrasing as well.

Lyrics

Please help by doing a Google lyrics search for the correct lyrics for this particular song
and pasting them here between the 'pre' statements. Thanks!

The other thing is there are a couple of tags you posted that are not valid tag words. Here are the two that need fixed:

Swallow Life 4
Drops of Jupiter (Tell Me) 5

The best protocol to assure yourself you have not made an error is to do a preview of your edits before saving and then look at the page once again after you have saved. If you are in doubt of any of the edits you have done so far, just go to your contributions page and check back over your edits to date.

Thanks again for helping out here and the only way any of us learned the WIKI WAY was to make mistakes and learn by seeing others too. OldGowl (talk/contribs) 08:34, December 4, 2008 (AKST)

Hi Flora. Hey glad to have your help ! If you check the editing on this very page you will see the phrasing of the "lyrics" section. You can use that to replace what was missing. Remove the wording between the "pre" on each end and replace with the lyrics. You may even find some song pages with this phrasing missing..especially in the case of no lyrics or instrumentals. Good luck with it all. OldGowl (talk/contribs) 09:04, December 4, 2008 (AKST)
Congratulations ! The more you work with the WIKI, the easier it becomes and the more YOU will start noticing things that need correcting. Many times it is due to the EJs having duplicated tags or lyrics etc. If you start studying how certain pages are edited, you can learn a lot. Sometimes, I just look at the editing of various people's USER PAGES or artist pages, just to get ideas. Thanks again for jumping in and editing.. I know Jim appreciates it. Adding Lyrics

Flora,

When you enter edit mode on a song page, you should see something that looks like this:

Lyrics
<pre>
Please help by doing a Google lyrics search for the correct lyrics for this particular song and pasting them here between the 'pre' statements. Thanks!
</pre>

 • Replace the text between <pre> and </pre> with the lyrics.
 • <pre> and </pre> must stay where they are.

I hope this helps. Kelli (talk/contribs) 09:49, December 4, 2008 (AKST)
