Happy Discoverer's Day...I guess. My husband calls it 'murdering entrpreneur day.' And he's Italian!
My song "Bingo Bus on the Trail of Tears" was written with Columbus Day in mind, and reflects contemporary life on the reservation in Cherokee, NC. It was released on my next-to-latest CD, which sold out (so I don't have any to send to WWR), but you can hear and download the song for free on my Myspace page. http://myspace.com/maggiecouncil
"Columbus ain't gone home for 500 years, now he drives bingo buses down the Trail of Tears.."

Hey, Wheatheads,
A week or so after my new CD charted on KPFT in Houston, Hurricane Ike hit. I sent them a bunch of CDs to help raise funds for what I'm sure are unbudgeted repairs. They're back on the air now, but I bet they could use help. Musicians who've aired there, it would be nice if you sent them some of your product for on-air fundraisers! Send to:
