It is overcast and mellow this morning. I woke up with a feeling of accomplishment because I turned in both of my finals before midnight last night and actually got to sleep soundly on a finals night! So, I'm feeling very content this morning as I start up a new round of classes. I feel like I've earned some quality, uninterrupted time with WWR before the craziness sets in yet again.
The last couple of months have been filled with many highs and lows. The elections were tumultuous, classwork is getting more annoying as time passes, and people continue to do things which surprise me to no end, usually throwing me for a loop or two in the process. In the midst of all of this I have found a yoga studio where the community has brought me in. For the first time since my Corps days I have local compadres.
In a few months I'll be starting a nine-week course to become a certified yoga instructor. I chuckle at this because I will be doing all this during my senior year! I have 13 months of work left to do and then I'll have finished up with my first bachelors degree. I don't know what's going to happen beyond that but it seems that the demand for yoga and art keep growing even as the recession deepens. Since my feet are the only things I can see clearly on this journey, I'm not worrying much about what comes next. One foot in front of the other is all that can be done anyways, right?
The Earl Grey is hot and the morning is still very mellow. Peace and joy to all you who pass by this way today :-)
