Mom, Allie Irene, turned 97 the 8th of this month. Although she is legally blind and has severe osteoporosis, she still manages to accomplish a great deal on her own, and she remains independent to a very high degree. Allie's companion is Jolly, a miniature poodle who has been her confidant for 12 years now. Both of them had a good Christmas this year and their appetites were extraordinary!
