I dated a gal from St. Paul, Oregon many, many years ago, and I wrote this song soon after she stopped dating me for a guy named "Wormy". The odd thing is that I remember everything about her: what she looked like, the fact that she was of German descent, etc. . . . but I can't remember her name! She was definitely a cowgirl from St. Paul, but I didn't really swear off her---she swore off me! Hope you enjoy the humor.
