Trivia, story behind the song, etc.
I wrote this piece when I got my first non-used car (Mitsubishi Eclipse) and on the way to the dealership to get a sun-roof put in, I hit a deer that completely smashed in my hood and ended up flipping over the car (almost coming in through the windshield). I came up with the name "Bonzai Bambi" to describe the strange experience of seeing a single deer break away from the small group to what seemed 'intentionally' run across the highway as fast as possible....almost as if it were a 'dare' or a bizarre suicide attempt....hence the name "Bonzai Bambi". This is a solo piece on my steel string guitar.
