The bodhran is an Irish frame drum with a distinctive sound based on the way it is played. The bodhran is most often found in Irish tunes of course, but it is beginning to make appearances in other styles as well. I heard it in Songs:Beat_Down_Grass_(74394) "Beat Down Grass" by Sara Cox recently, and Johnsmith uses it frequently (but he has Irish influence in his music style). I think it would be nice to have a tag for the bodhran if it can be made a sub-set of Drums. Any thoughts from others? Cub Driver (talk/contribs) 11:07, July 21, 2008 (AKDT)

We can't really do sub-sets (in the way you mean), but we could sort by Drums so that it would be next to Drums in the list. Kelli (talk/contribs) 11:47, July 21, 2008 (AKDT)
Sounds like it has value. If you can hear it and someone might want to request a show of bodhran music, I say go for it. That's probably a good idea to create at the same time ... a show of bodhran music. Jim (talk/contribs) 18:00, July 21, 2008 (AKDT)
I believe {{tagcat}} will add a show to the category page. Kelli (talk/contribs) 18:15, July 21, 2008 (AKDT)
Doh! Of course you're correct about that. So don't bother making a show Cub. It's already done. Image:Thumbsup.gif Jim (talk/contribs) 21:56, July 21, 2008 (AKDT)
